The Best Excersise For Strong Lungs

Nothing wrong with the aesthetics and yes we all want to look fit, but aesthetics will soon fade. You will learn how dedicated you need to be in order to look like this guy or Ronaldo. Also, it take a long time to see serious results and people truly give up way to early because they workout for the wrong reasons.

Reasons you should workout? The performance enhancements due to exercise for your body.

Something you hardly hear someone say, “Dude I had a killer lung workout this morning”. Makes sense right? Can you pickup girls through lung strength? Eh that’s not the go to feature. Can you lift heavier things from lung strength? Well we shall see later on in the blog, but most people don’t even think about it.

Healthy lungs can help with endurance, strength, fights sickness, and overall improves your daily life. So what is the best way to exercise your lungs (Yes running, but lets surprise you a little):

1. Walking Daily
Walking is awesome for your body, strengthens your muscles, and actually relieves stress. ‘If you build up all the tissues to function optimally around the diseased organ, it takes the pressure off that uncomfortable organ,’ says Richard Casaburi, PhD, professor and chief of the Division of Respiratory and Critical Care Physiology and Medicine, Harbor at the University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center. Stronger tissue around the lungs will help them work more effectively.

Alright so do you know how to walk? Maybe not, stand straight with your head up, shoulders back, and maintain a heel-to-toe stride. Posture helps prevent your rib cage from compressing, allowing your lungs to fully expand. Intensify your cardio by picking up the pace or climbing up a hill; and you can even incorporate deep breathing to increase your air intake and really get your blood pumping.

2. Practice Deep Breathing
This is something you do everyday, breath. Utilize this by strengthening the lungs through deep breathing. Simply relax your face, inhale through your nose as deeply as you can, and exhale out through your mouth. Tidal Volume which basically means how much air your lungs can inhale, the more air the better… obviously.

Breathing deeply throughout the day will open your chest cavity, this helps your lungs distribute oxygen evenly throughout the body. Oxygen distribution is crucial because it helps remove carbon dioxide waste, a gas that can be detrimental to your organs if it’s not removed properly.

Try waking up and taking some deep breaths immediately, maybe use these yoga stretches to get those lungs strong and ready for the day.

3. Clear Out Your Lungs
You want to make sure you empty your lungs fully, to ensure they refill to maximum potential. A great way to do this, stand up straight with your knees loose; bend over at the waist, blowing out all the air from your lungs as you exhale during these lung exercises. Then make sure you inhale slowly as you get back to the upright position. Hold that breath for 20 seconds and extend both arms above your head. Exhale and relax your arms, letting them drop back to your sides. Do this move four times.

4. The Belly!
Working out those abs, actually improves your lungs. The diaphragm is located above your abdomen, which is the key muscle your body engages when breathing in and out. Lie on your back and extend your legs flat against the floor with one hand on your stomach and the other on your chest. Inhale deeply, slowly pulling from your abdomen. The key is you want your hand on your belly to raise higher than your hand on your chest, this means you are getting the most oxygen to your body. Hold this breath for 7 seconds to make this even more effective.

5. Posture is HUGE
We are sitting a lot more with the creation of computers and the internet. Studies have shown that bad posture squeezes your lungs and creates a shallow breathing space that depletes your body of the oxygen it needs to feel energized. ‘It’s important to keep that lung capacity at an optimal level, [which doesn’t happen] when you’re bent over like a 90-year-old,’ Dr. Peeke says. Throughout the day run a quick posture check on yourself, also try investing in a standing desk to help prevent poor posture.
